    Thanks Dave another great tutorial series. I really have learned alot from
    your videos, and have built a yagi from a TV antenna for my scanner idea
    from your video. Now this summer I’ll try making a SW dipole to replace my
    SW 50′ longwire.

    Quick question — what determines the number of coils? You used nine coils
    of 3 wires — why 9 coils? Why not 6.5 or 27? Thanks!
